  THANDIWE   I’m 54 years old. I’m married and have many children as well as two orphans that I look after. I started weaving in 1980 and doing these crafts have enabled me to look after my family, and now all of my children have finished High School. Working with Jane has changed my life.

  MOLLY    I’m 63 years old. I started weaving in 1986. I started weaving by myself for Mrs Taylor, then other women decided to join me and we became six. I’m grateful for the orders that Mrs. Taylor gives us, we are able to support our families because of her.

  James    James has worked under the watchful eye of experienced leather workers to master his craft. He is responsible for all the “nuts and bolts” and fine-tuning of the product when binding the leather into basketry.

  EGNESS   I was born in 1958 and this year I will be turning 59 years old. I have a family of ten. I started working in 2000. I like doing this job because it helps me support my family. I am able to pay school fees, buy food, clothing and blankets as well as join clubs. We are happy to work with Madam Taylor because we all work very well together and the work helps us live better lives.
